    Clinical Supervision

I am available to offer AEDP-Informed individual and small group clinical supervision.  All inquiries are welcome.

    ———————————————————————————–

I offer a Clinical Consultation Group for LMSW’s on Mondays at 12:00pm to 1:30pm. We focus and work together on learning and using integrative mind-body, trauma-informed, relational, attachment-based, and more experiential emotion-focused psychotherapy approaches, including AEDP & EFT. All inquiries are welcome.

Are you interested in learning about AEDP psychotherapy? Have you thought about taking the initial Immersion course through the AEDP Institute but want to learn more about the model first? I welcome you to join an AEDP Consultation & Study group where read and discuss selected chapters of Dr. Diana Fosha’s Undoing Aloneness & the Transformation of Suffering into Flourishing: AEDP 2.0, incorporating ways to apply to clinical cases. Each group session will consist of guided discussion/reflections. If you might be interested, please reach-out to me so that we can schedule a brief phone consultation together to connect and discuss if the group is right for you. I welcome your questions and input.

I teach a 3-Hour CEU workshop: Introduction to AEDP course which I offer both in the community to mental health clinicians and academically.

If you work with trauma this workshop has a different approach that complements some of the more standard technique-based approaches such as EMDR. It is not for the faint of heart…it will cause you to examine some of your core beliefs about what creates healing. It is rooted in the neurobiological capacity of the brain to rewire in the warmth of the therapeutic relationship. If you are interested, check it out or pass it along to someone who might be.

The Transformation of Suffering-An Introduction to Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, presented by Dr. Karen Tantillo, reflects the integration of the head and the heart in the therapeutic process. Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a healing-oriented, attachment-based and experiential mind-body psychotherapy that is effective in addressing relational and attachment trauma, engendering resilience, and enhancing a sense of well-being and flourishing (Iwakabe et al, 2022).

AEDP translates current neuroscience into moment-to-moment clinical practice that can lead to transformational change. In this workshop, the conceptual framework of AEDP’s healing-oriented transformational model will be shared along with excerpts of clinical videotape that demonstrate specific AEDP strategies and interventions. An opportunity to practice aspects of AEDP, ask questions and reflect on learning will be provided.

By the end of the training, participants will:

    1. Identify 3 components of the theoretical model underpinning AEDP practice.

    2. Identify at least four key clinical concepts of the model and the therapeutic stance of AEDP

    3. Explore the phenomenology of the 4 States and 3 State Transformations of AEDP

    4. Practice aspects of AEDP in a structured experiential exercise with an opportunity for reflection and “meta-therapeutic processing
